Robert Mize Sutton, 89, of Urbana died at 6:45 p.m. Monday (May 2, 2005) at home.

Memorial services will be on July 16, with the time and location to be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery, Alton.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana.

Dr. Sutton was a retired professor of the University of Illinois, a long-time member of University Baptist Church, a former board member of the Baptist Student Foundation and an Honorary Chair for the current "Building on a Legacy" campaign to build a new Stratford House for undergraduate women at the Baptist Student Foundation.
