The Baptist Student Foundation at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

	Welcome to the Baptist Student Foundation! The Baptist Student Foundation is a campus ministry of the American Baptist Churches USA to the University of Illinois. It is located in the midst of the Urbana-Champaign campus, just four blocks from the Quad, the center of university activity. University Baptist Church was established in 1912. Various housing ministries were added in 1949, 1952 and 1986. The Baptist Student Foundation (BSF) is located on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to transform lives in the name of Jesus Christ. As an American Baptist Mission to the the University community, our goal is to touch people in a way that faith in God is front and center in both thought and behavior. The BSF conducts ministry through University Baptist Church and the BSF Housing Ministry. The Housing Ministry was created to provide students a cooperative Christian living environment that enhances academic pursuits. The four houses - Stratford, Koinonia, Sutton Place and "312" House - offer opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. Each house draws from a variety of faith backgrounds and is, therefore, ecumenical in tone. Rev. Dr. Brett H.
