WHO WE ARE...
The "312 House" is for women who want a home-style place to live during their studies at the UIUC. The house is a warm and beautiful place with a "homey" atmosphere that is not found in apartments. Each resident
gets their own room, and we share a kitchen and other common spaces in the house. If you are looking for a community of positive Christian women to live with then 312
House is the place you want to live. This community of girls has fun planning events together such as; pajama parties, unity nights, and outings. We also enjoying cooking and baking together in our large full service kitchen. While living in this house you will be encouraged in your Christian walk while you build others up. 312 House is located in the heart of campus which is makes living here very convenient. Our house is an exciting place to live! We would love to show you around so feel free to contact us to set up an appointment.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q. Where can I find more detailed information?
You can find out more on the internet at www.bsfui.org or by calling 217 344 0484.Q. What is the cost?
Rooms for the 2007 school year will cost from $355-$375 per month depending on the room. We are a cooperative and not-for profit, so our rates are competitive.
Rent covers all utilities, but not the cost of food, internet, or parking if needed.
Q. Do I have to be Christian to live at 312?
It is not required. This house is part of the housing ministry of the Baptist Student Foundation, and we strive to be a place in which
Christians can encourage each other to grow in and live out their faith. Non Christian women are also welcome if they are comfortable living with Christians and are willing to follow house rules.
Q. Do I need a car to live here?
No. We are within easy walking distance from most of the campus and we are only about 100 feet from the bus stop. If you do have a car, we offer parking next door to the house, for an additional fee.Q. Who lives at 312?
We want our house to include both international and American women. It is important to us to keep a mix of both. We share friendships with interesting people from around the world, and the Christian fellowship can be deep and real. You can really get to know people when you share the same house.
